Vietnamese Women's Day 2026 at Goo Farm Tea Vietnam
On 20 October, Vietnamese Women's Day, Goo Farm Tea Vietnam set aside time to thank the women who keep our company running. At the tea farm we organised a photo day, team activities and a party for our staff, and in Hanoi the office team got together over a hotpot to raise a glass to the women we work with every day.
A photo day among the tea rows
Dressed in matching red T-shirts with the yellow star, our farm staff lined up along the tea rows for group photos taken from the air, then carried on with team activities and a party. For people who spend the season walking these rows, it was a chance to see the farm from above and to enjoy it together, away from the daily work.
Raising a glass in Hanoi
In Hanoi, the office team, the people who answer your emails, prepare your samples and arrange your shipping documents, celebrated over a hotpot, with plenty of sliced beef, mushrooms and greens on the table and a toast to every woman on the team.
Why Vietnamese Women's Day matters to us
Vietnamese Women's Day marks the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union on 20 October 1930. In Vietnam it is a day when colleagues, families and friends thank the women around them, usually with flowers, a meal together and a few warm words.
In tea, the thanks are well earned. Many of the hands behind every lot we ship belong to women: plucking and sorting at the farm and factories, checking quality, and handling sales and export paperwork in the office. To all the women of Goo Farm: thank you for your care and hard work this year. We wish you good health and happiness.
If you buy tea from us, you have already met some of these people by email. You are welcome to meet them in person: read about visiting our Hanoi office and tea factories, or contact us to plan a trip.
