Vietnam Yellow Tea
Yellow tea is a lightly oxidised tea made in small quantities: after fixing, the leaf is wrapped and allowed to yellow slowly, which softens the grassy notes of green tea into a mellow, sweet cup. We supply it in small lots for specialty shops and gift packs.

Yellow Tea is a rare specialty in our range. We make this Vietnam yellow tea from carefully picked young leaf and buds. Its processing is intricate and gives the tea a flavor profile of its own.
Leaf, liquor and flavor
The dry leaves are long and slightly curled. They brew to a bright orange liquor with a honey-like aroma. The taste is mellow and gentle, slightly fruity, with floral undertones and a light nutty note. The cup is delicate, yet it has several layers of flavor.
Yellow tea shares the other tea category with our Jin Xuan oolong. Request a yellow tea sample to judge the leaf and the cup yourself. The sample you approve sets the standard for your order.

Yellow Tea FAQ
How does yellow tea differ from green tea? Yellow tea has an extra slow 'yellowing' step after fixing, which gives a smoother, sweeter, less grassy cup and a pale yellow liquor.
Can I get a sample and a COA? Yes. We are always happy to send samples, so you can check the quality before you order. The sample you approve is the reference for the whole order. A certificate of analysis comes with each lot, and SGS or Dai Viet Control inspection and Eurofins lab testing can be arranged per shipment.
What is the minimum order? There is no minimum order; the price depends on the quantity. You can also combine several grades in one 20ft or 40HC container, and we will confirm how many tons of each fit.
What payment terms do you accept? Flexible terms: T/T, L/C or a combination of the two, agreed for each order and written into the proforma invoice. Payment goes only to the company account of Goo Farm Tea Vietnam Company Limited, never to a personal account.
How is Yellow Tea packed, and how much fits in a container? PP/PE bags, kraft paper sacks, export cartons or vacuum aluminium bags. Small-quantity specialty lot. Private-label bags and retail packs are available on request.
