Bergamot Green Tea is Vietnamese green tea flavored with bergamot, the citrus fruit whose oil gives Earl Grey its aroma. We start from our own OP and Pekoe green tea and add the flavoring at our factory, so the tea arrives ready to pack.
Bergamot green tea leaf and cup
The dry leaf is green and well twisted, longer on the OP bases and shorter and tighter on Pekoe. It brews a clear, golden yellow liquor. Bergamot leads the aroma with a fresh citrus note, and the taste keeps the clean, vegetal character of the green tea under a soft citrus finish. The flavoring is dosed at 0.4%, a light dose that lets the tea lead.
Choosing the base and the flavor
OP leaf looks best in a clear loose-leaf pack or a pyramid bag; Pekoe gives a slightly stronger cup and loads a little more per container. If you want the classic Earl Grey profile on green tea, compare our Earl Grey Green Tea; for bergamot on black tea, see Bergamot Black Tea.
All our scented and flavored teas are on the flavor tea page, and the base leaf is explained in our guide to Vietnamese green tea grades. Request a sample of Bergamot Green Tea; the sample you approve becomes the standard for your order.

Bergamot Green Tea FAQ
What is the difference between Bergamot Green Tea and Earl Grey Green Tea? Both are green tea with a citrus aroma. Bergamot Green Tea uses a bergamot flavoring; our Earl Grey Green Tea uses a classic Earl Grey flavoring, which is based on bergamot. We can send both samples to compare.
Can I get a sample and a COA? Yes. We are always happy to send samples, so you can check the quality before you order. The sample you approve is the reference for the whole order. A certificate of analysis comes with each lot, and SGS or Dai Viet Control inspection and Eurofins lab testing can be arranged per shipment.
What is the minimum order? There is no minimum order; the price depends on the quantity. You can also combine several grades in one 20ft or 40HC container, and we will confirm how many tons of each fit.
What payment terms do you accept? Flexible terms: T/T, L/C or a combination of the two, agreed for each order and written into the proforma invoice. Payment goes only to the company account of Goo Farm Tea Vietnam Company Limited, never to a personal account.
How is Bergamot Green Tea packed, and how much fits in a container? PP/PE bags, kraft paper sacks, export cartons or vacuum aluminium bags. About the same as the plain base grade: 17 tons per 40HC on OP leaf, 18 tons on Pekoe. Private-label bags and retail packs are available on request.
