Tea Dust Black Tea F3 is the most economical of our three orthodox fannings grades. Like F1 and F2, it is made of small, finely broken leaf pieces with brown-yellow particles. Vietnam tea dust F3 fits products where a quick, brisk brew matters more than appearance and where price per kilogram decides the purchase.
F3 brew and flavor profile
F3 brews fast, with the same brisk character as the higher fannings grades. Expect a reddish liquor with an orange hue. A fresh aroma with soft floral hints leads into a malty, citrusy taste. The aftertaste is sweet, with a mild tannic edge. The small particles give up their color early, so short steeping times work well.
