Tea Dust Black Tea PF (Pekoe Fannings) consists of small, dense granules that give a quick, strong, dark cup. It is a standard grade for tea bags and strong milk tea. Standard bulk packing loads about 25 tons per 40HC.

Tea Dust Black Tea PF (Pekoe Fannings) is a CTC grade. The leaf goes through the crush, tear and curl process and dries into small, firm granules, black to dark brown. PF granules are larger than PD, which has the smallest granules in our CTC range. Packers use Vietnam tea dust PF as the base of strong tea bags, and blenders use it in breakfast-style blends.
Strength, color and speed of PF
PF brews a ruby-red liquor. The aroma is fresh and invigorating, and the taste is strong and malty. The small granules release their color quickly, so a short brew still gives a full, deep-colored cup. Against orthodox fannings such as F1, PF gives more strength and malt, and less citrus.

Uses and Main Markets
Small, even particles release colour and strength in a short steep and run evenly on tea-bag machines.
A strong, bright cup that holds up to milk, sugar and spices.
A fast, strong infusion for extraction, instant tea and ready-to-drink production.
CTC grades go mainly to South Asia and the Middle East (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, the UAE), where strong tea is brewed with milk and sugar.
Tea Dust Black Tea PF FAQ
What is the difference between PF and PD? PF granules are slightly larger than PD. PD brews faster and darker; PF gives a little more control over strength in a bag.
Can I get a sample and a COA? Yes. We are always happy to send samples, so you can check the quality before you order. The sample you approve is the reference for the whole order. A certificate of analysis comes with each lot, and SGS or Dai Viet Control inspection and Eurofins lab testing can be arranged per shipment.
What is the minimum order? There is no minimum order; the price depends on the quantity. You can also combine several grades in one 20ft or 40HC container, and we will confirm how many tons of each fit.
What payment terms do you accept? Flexible terms: T/T, L/C or a combination of the two, agreed for each order and written into the proforma invoice. Payment goes only to the company account of Goo Farm Tea Vietnam Company Limited, never to a personal account.
