Vietnam BP CTC Black Tea (Broken Pekoe)
BP is the second CTC granule size, a little smaller than BOP, with an even, dense granule and a strong, coloury cup. It is the workhorse grade for milk tea, chai and loose CTC packs. Standard bulk packing loads about 24 tons per 40HC.

BP Black Tea, or Broken Pekoe, is the all-round grade of our CTC line. Its granules are big and firm, one step smaller than BOP. We suggest this Vietnam CTC BP black tea to tea bag packers who want a strong, dark cup from a short brew.
BP granules and liquor
The dry tea is black to dark brown, with firm granules of even size. In hot water they open quickly and give a ruby-red liquor and a lively, fresh scent. The taste is strong and malty, with enough body for milk. BP brews a little faster than BOP. Compared with PF, it gives a rounder, slightly slower brew.

Uses and Main Markets
A strong, bright cup that holds up to milk, sugar and spices.
Small, even particles release colour and strength in a short steep and run evenly on tea-bag machines.
Adds body and a brisk, malty base to breakfast, Earl Grey and chai blends.
CTC grades go mainly to South Asia and the Middle East (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, the UAE), where strong tea is brewed with milk and sugar.
BP Black Tea FAQ
What is the difference between CTC BP and BOP? BP granules are smaller than BOP, so BP brews a little faster and darker and loads one ton more per container.
Can I get a sample and a COA? Yes. We are always happy to send samples, so you can check the quality before you order. The sample you approve is the reference for the whole order. A certificate of analysis comes with each lot, and SGS or Dai Viet Control inspection and Eurofins lab testing can be arranged per shipment.
What is the minimum order? There is no minimum order; the price depends on the quantity. You can also combine several grades in one 20ft or 40HC container, and we will confirm how many tons of each fit.
What payment terms do you accept? Flexible terms: T/T, L/C or a combination of the two, agreed for each order and written into the proforma invoice. Payment goes only to the company account of Goo Farm Tea Vietnam Company Limited, never to a personal account.
How is BP Black Tea packed, and how much fits in a container? PP/PE bags, kraft paper sacks, export cartons or vacuum aluminium bags. A 40HC container holds about 24 tons of BP Black Tea with standard bulk packing. Private-label bags and retail packs are available on request.
