Vietnam PF CTC Black Tea (Pekoe Fannings)
PF is the fannings grade of our CTC black tea: small, dense granules that give a quick, strong, dark cup. It is the standard CTC grade for tea bags and a common choice for strong milk tea. Standard bulk packing loads about 25 tons per 40HC.

PF Black Tea, short for Pekoe Fannings, is a small-granule grade in our CTC line. Blenders use this Vietnam CTC PF black tea as the base of strong blends, and tea bag packers use it in standard bags. After withering, the leaf is cut, torn and curled, then oxidized, dried and sieved by granule size.
PF granule, color and taste
The granules are small and firm, black to dark brown, and they brew quickly and evenly. Brewed, PF shows a ruby-red liquor, a revitalizing fresh aroma and a malty, strong taste. In size it sits between BP and PD: finer and quicker than BP, a little larger than PD.

Uses and Main Markets
Small, even particles release colour and strength in a short steep and run evenly on tea-bag machines.
A strong, bright cup that holds up to milk, sugar and spices.
A fast, strong infusion for extraction, instant tea and ready-to-drink production.
CTC grades go mainly to South Asia and the Middle East (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, the UAE), where strong tea is brewed with milk and sugar.
PF Black Tea FAQ
Is PF good for tea bags? Yes. PF granules are small and even, so they fill bags consistently and brew strong within a short steep.
Can I get a sample and a COA? Yes. We are always happy to send samples, so you can check the quality before you order. The sample you approve is the reference for the whole order. A certificate of analysis comes with each lot, and SGS or Dai Viet Control inspection and Eurofins lab testing can be arranged per shipment.
What is the minimum order? There is no minimum order; the price depends on the quantity. You can also combine several grades in one 20ft or 40HC container, and we will confirm how many tons of each fit.
What payment terms do you accept? Flexible terms: T/T, L/C or a combination of the two, agreed for each order and written into the proforma invoice. Payment goes only to the company account of Goo Farm Tea Vietnam Company Limited, never to a personal account.
How is PF Black Tea packed, and how much fits in a container? PP/PE bags, kraft paper sacks, export cartons or vacuum aluminium bags. A 40HC container holds about 25 tons of PF Black Tea with standard bulk packing. Private-label bags and retail packs are available on request.
