Vietnam PD CTC Black Tea (Pekoe Dust)
PD is the smallest CTC grade: fine, firm granules that brew almost instantly to a ruby-red, strong and malty cup. It can be drunk plain or with milk and sugar and is used for tea bags, spiced tea and boba tea. Standard bulk packing loads about 26 tons per 40HC.

PD CTC Black Tea is the finest cut we make in CTC. PD stands for Pekoe Dust. This Vietnam CTC PD black tea serves products that need a fast, dark and strong extraction, from tea bags to instant tea.
Small granules, full color
PD is made of small, firm granules, black to dark brown. More of the leaf surface meets the water, so it brews the fastest and darkest of our four CTC grades. The cup is ruby red, with an energizing, fresh scent. Expect a strong, malty, full-bodied taste with a light natural sweetness.

Uses and Main Markets
Small, even particles release colour and strength in a short steep and run evenly on tea-bag machines.
A strong, bright cup that holds up to milk, sugar and spices.
Fine particles with a high extraction yield for instant and powdered tea.
CTC grades go mainly to South Asia and the Middle East (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, the UAE), where strong tea is brewed with milk and sugar.
PD CTC Black Tea FAQ
What is the difference between PD and PF? PD (Pekoe Dust) is finer than PF (Pekoe Fannings). It brews faster and darker and loads one ton more per container.
Can I get a sample and a COA? Yes. We are always happy to send samples, so you can check the quality before you order. The sample you approve is the reference for the whole order. A certificate of analysis comes with each lot, and SGS or Dai Viet Control inspection and Eurofins lab testing can be arranged per shipment.
What is the minimum order? There is no minimum order; the price depends on the quantity. You can also combine several grades in one 20ft or 40HC container, and we will confirm how many tons of each fit.
What payment terms do you accept? Flexible terms: T/T, L/C or a combination of the two, agreed for each order and written into the proforma invoice. Payment goes only to the company account of Goo Farm Tea Vietnam Company Limited, never to a personal account.
How is PD CTC Black Tea packed, and how much fits in a container? PP/PE bags, kraft paper sacks, export cartons or vacuum aluminium bags. A 40HC container holds about 26 tons of PD CTC Black Tea with standard bulk packing. Private-label bags and retail packs are available on request.
