Vietnam Broken Green Tea
Broken green tea is the broken-leaf grade sorted below the whole-leaf green grades. It gives a fuller, quicker cup than OP green tea and is used for tea bags, blends and economical loose packs. Standard bulk packing loads about 22 tons per 40HC.

Vietnam Broken green tea is made of small and broken leaf pieces, smaller than whole leaf but larger than fannings. It keeps much of the character of the leaf, but it brews faster and gives a stronger cup.
Between whole leaf and fannings
Open a sample and you will see small leaf pieces, not powder. The infusion is bright green, and the scent is clean and fresh. On the palate, Broken is strong and vegetal, with an obvious bitter note and a gentle astringency. Because the pieces are small, it brews quickly and gives a robust cup even with a short steep.

Broken Green Tea FAQ
Who buys Broken green tea? Tea-bag packers and blenders who want a stronger green infusion at a lower price than whole-leaf grades.
Can I get a sample and a COA? Yes. We are always happy to send samples, so you can check the quality before you order. The sample you approve is the reference for the whole order. A certificate of analysis comes with each lot, and SGS or Dai Viet Control inspection and Eurofins lab testing can be arranged per shipment.
What is the minimum order? There is no minimum order; the price depends on the quantity. You can also combine several grades in one 20ft or 40HC container, and we will confirm how many tons of each fit.
What payment terms do you accept? Flexible terms: T/T, L/C or a combination of the two, agreed for each order and written into the proforma invoice. Payment goes only to the company account of Goo Farm Tea Vietnam Company Limited, never to a personal account.
How is Broken Green Tea packed, and how much fits in a container? PP/PE bags, kraft paper sacks, export cartons or vacuum aluminium bags. A 40HC container holds about 22 tons of Broken Green Tea with standard bulk packing. Private-label bags and retail packs are available on request.
