Vietnam Madina Green Tea (Gunpowder style)
Madina is a tightly rolled green tea, similar in shape to gunpowder tea, produced from young bud leaves. The dense pellets keep well and brew a full-bodied cup with mild astringency, which is why it is the main grade for mint-tea markets. The pellets pack densely: about 25 tons per 40HC.

Madina is the grade in our range that comes closest to gunpowder tea. Vietnam Madina green tea is a whole-leaf tea rolled tightly into firm, compact pieces. That tight roll affects two things a buyer cares about: how the leaf looks in the pack and how many tons fit in one container.
A tight roll and a full-bodied cup
The dry leaf has the gunpowder look, rolled tight and dense. It brews a green infusion with a fresh, clean aroma. The flavor is full-bodied, and the astringency is mild. When you taste a sample, let the rolled leaf open fully before you judge the cup.

Madina Green Tea FAQ
Is Madina the same as gunpowder tea? It is rolled the same way, into small tight pellets, and is used for the same mint-tea markets. Madina is the Vietnamese grade name.
Can I get a sample and a COA? Yes. We are always happy to send samples, so you can check the quality before you order. The sample you approve is the reference for the whole order. A certificate of analysis comes with each lot, and SGS or Dai Viet Control inspection and Eurofins lab testing can be arranged per shipment.
What is the minimum order? There is no minimum order; the price depends on the quantity. You can also combine several grades in one 20ft or 40HC container, and we will confirm how many tons of each fit.
What payment terms do you accept? Flexible terms: T/T, L/C or a combination of the two, agreed for each order and written into the proforma invoice. Payment goes only to the company account of Goo Farm Tea Vietnam Company Limited, never to a personal account.
How is Madina Green Tea packed, and how much fits in a container? PP/PE bags, kraft paper sacks, export cartons or vacuum aluminium bags. A 40HC container holds about 25 tons of Madina Green Tea with standard bulk packing. Private-label bags and retail packs are available on request.
