Vietnam Pekoe Green Tea
Pekoe green tea is a shorter whole-leaf grade with a tightly twisted leaf and a brisk, fresh cup. It is used for loose green tea and as a leaf component in blends. Standard bulk packing loads about 18 tons per 40HC.

Vietnam Pekoe green tea is a whole-leaf grade with well-rolled leaves that keep a bright green color. Among our whole-leaf grades, Pekoe is the one to sample when you want green in both the dry leaf and the cup.
Green leaf, green cup
The dry leaves are well rolled and bright green. They brew a bright green cup with a clean, fresh fragrance. Its taste is strong and vegetal, with noticeable bitterness and slight astringency. Pekoe and BOM both brew green, while OP and OPA brew yellow. If your customers judge green tea by the color in the cup, compare these grades side by side.

Pekoe Green Tea FAQ
How does Pekoe green tea differ from OP green tea? Pekoe leaf is shorter and more tightly twisted than OP, with a slightly stronger cup, and it loads one ton more per container.
Can I get a sample and a COA? Yes. We are always happy to send samples, so you can check the quality before you order. The sample you approve is the reference for the whole order. A certificate of analysis comes with each lot, and SGS or Dai Viet Control inspection and Eurofins lab testing can be arranged per shipment.
What is the minimum order? There is no minimum order; the price depends on the quantity. You can also combine several grades in one 20ft or 40HC container, and we will confirm how many tons of each fit.
What payment terms do you accept? Flexible terms: T/T, L/C or a combination of the two, agreed for each order and written into the proforma invoice. Payment goes only to the company account of Goo Farm Tea Vietnam Company Limited, never to a personal account.
How is Pekoe Green Tea packed, and how much fits in a container? PP/PE bags, kraft paper sacks, export cartons or vacuum aluminium bags. A 40HC container holds about 18 tons of Pekoe Green Tea with standard bulk packing. Private-label bags and retail packs are available on request.
