Tea Dust Grade 2 covers the Dust 2 and Dust 3 fractions from our orthodox sorting. It is a fine powder, brown-yellow in color. Vietnam tea dust Grade 2 is our economy dust grade, for buyers who need the speed and color of dust at a low wholesale price.

Grade 2 color and flavor

Grade 2 brews a reddish liquor tinted orange. The fine powder extracts quickly and gives full color with milk and sugar. The flavor follows the orthodox profile: malty and brisk, with citrus notes and a sweet, slightly tannic end. Its scent is energizing, with a floral touch. Grade 1 is a blackish powder with a rich, full-bodied cup, while Grade 2 is brown-yellow and costs less.

Grade 2 sits below Grade 1 in our tea dust range. To learn how to read a dust specification, see our Vietnam tea dust guide. Request a Grade 2 sample, and agree with us on the particle size range and moisture before you order.
